Is supposed to indicate that there is a problem with one of the phases (lines) supplying the VFD.
Usually indicates a blown fuse on the incoming power feed to the drive.
-------------------------- Advanced Description Below --------------------------
The drive is actually measuring ripple on the d.c. bus.
Ripple is defined as AC riding the DC.
This ripple usually happens when you single phase the Bridge Rectifier.
The manual states that you can turn off this detection setting. WARNING, as this ripple can cause the capacitors to overheat. That boom you here when the magic smoke is released is a capacitor blowing up.
